Hey, here's another piece as I get on with the other one (holy shiznel that one is taking me a long time TT) to act as filler. So here I show the distribution of Chipal-controlled territories on Earth as per the early 1400s. Do note that these aren't the distribution of Chipals in general. Quite a few live in cities that are major trading centers of the world, and in the Americas they make up a significant minority of the populace of many nations, particularly in the Aztec Triple Alliance and the Mayan Civilization.

The Chipals are also not united under one nation. I don't show the border for any of the nations here, but there are most certainly borders there. Several differing nations had their own versions of "aggressive expansions" in recent history (that being in the past 200 years) that have expanded Chipal-controlled areas significantly, which are the lighter green colors. Each new capture territory have their own story, which I'll lightly delve in here.

A significant portion of India was conquered quite painlessly when the Rashtrakuta Dynasty gave the northern part of the land to the Begafond Double Alliance during their revolt with Chalukya to ensure aid and safe passage. The Begafond Double Alliance was quick to agree to the terms and has held the land over there since. They also have engaged in trading with the rising power of the Rashtrakuta till their collapse in the early 13th century, by which that time the slightly changed Begafond took over most of India. They were eventually pushed back in 1340 by repeated attacks from the invading Muslim forces lead by Muhammad bin Tughluq, The Sultans of Dehli, and Ali Gurshasp.

So the one encompassing central China occurred during the time of Genghis Khan. Essentially, the Chipal Hassarmass the Fierce, who was the ruler of the Hoff Empire, had recently took over much of the Song Dynasty in a viciously rapid invasion coming from the South West and had tracked the attention of Khan. After a few stalematy battles between Genghis and Hassarmass, they eventually struck a deal to put on a big squeeze on the Jin and Song dynasty. After the combined forces struck from both sides and took over both the Jin and Song Dynasty's capital, Hassarmass struck a deal to hold most of the Song dynasty within her control in 1265.

Southern Japan was taken over quite swiftly during the Sengoku Period by the Dassmar Empire in the mid-15th Century. While Japan was in a state of turmoil, the expanding power located on the massive island of Mantu, which is an island made up of Java, Borneo, and more. They are doing superbly in the recent years and have also conquered the Philippines, Hawaiian islands and are one of the nations to settle in Western North America. It is making a profit from their New World colony, but it may turn out that they're stretching themselves much too thin and will eventually spiral down into debt because of their practices.

So that's all the territories briefly explained as per the year 1491. Oh yes, and some of you may notice that Australia looks a bit weird. Well this is a tiny change I've done to explain a little more of exactly how the Chipals evolved. I'll explain it in more detail, but the uplifting of the area between Papau and Australia and the unification of multiple islands occurred because the Philippine Sea Plate and Pacific Plate are subducting at a more rapid rate, which increases geologic activity along the Australian plate and spurs an overall land rise.

EDIT: So I added the sloths (called the makwans-the corruption for the Miami-Illinois word for bear) to the map and showed the borders of both makwan and chipal nations. The chipals have also conquered a whole lot less land since they are still somewhat new in the game of colonizing (although still far ahead of every one else). The makwan share their continent with the Amerindians who came in both by land and by sea during the last Ice Age. While both the Amerindians and makwans killed off a lot of the North American fauna North of the Rio Grande, in South America, where the sloths coevolved with the fauna, they domesticated animals and via trade, raid, and gifts the domesticated animals that could be ridden were brought up to North America and the Amerindians not only have a greater disease resistance, but they also have developed innoculation. That'll make some things quite interesting in the future.

Does the makwans wipe out South American sabertooths, Scimitar cats, equids, Arctotherium, Gomphotheres, lions and wolves?
