Nudiverm Organs

This is a quick and dirty display of the organs that nudiverms have. The organs do vary in appearance depending on the nudiverm in question, but all nudiverms have these organs in some way.

Green: This represents the digestive system. The stomach splits into several different capsules that directly transport nutrients to the muscles and other organs. What is left is then transported to the anus. Floaters have several specialized capsules that house the algae and store hydrogen.

Purple-red: This is the respiratory system. They are made up of 9 different lung like organs that are expanded by moving their limbs in an undulating manner. In most heterotrophic nudiverms, they have modified this system as the number of utilized limbs have decreased.

Orange-red: This is the heart of nudiverms. The heart primarily pumps oxygenated blood around the body instead of nutrients, but it is still necessary for the blood to pump nutrients to organs that are a little farther from the digestive capsules.

Pink: This is the nervous system. In the "plants", the nervous system can be extremely reduced to the point where there isn't even a central part to the nervous system.
